The Mendota Chamber of Commerce formed to promote economic growth and support local businesses.

Our chamber is guided by a seven-member board of directors that meets monthly to discuss priorities and hear from an expert on a business topics.

Jonathan Meza
President

Jonathan Meza was born and raised in Mendota, California. He earned his degree in Business Administration with an option in Accounting from California State University, Fresno. A proud local entrepreneur, Jonathan is the co-owner of several businesses including Oasis Xpress Car Wash, Fit Point Gym, Flex Fitness Mendota, Los Amigos Thrift Store, Priority Auto Sales, and El Oasis Raspados y Botanas.

Vice President

I was born and raised in Mendota, that shaped my work ethic and values. I started my journey with my first after-school job in Mendota Food Center, learning the importance of discipline and hard work. Today, I’ve come full circle—insuring those same grocery stores and other businesses throughout California. Step by step, I’m climbing the ladder of success and proudly living the American dream.

Secretary

Jose Arreola proudly serves as the Secretary for the Mendota Chamber of Commerce, where he helps ensure smooth communication, organization, and support for Chamber members and events. Jose holds a bachelor's degree in Business Finance from California State University Fresno and brings a blend of professionalism, attention to detail, and appreciation for his community.

Joseph Robert Amador
Community Relations Member

Born in Mendota, California married to Patricia Amador, they own the family business of Los Amadores Motel. Joseph is a retired Law Enforcement Officer, the majority of his career served as a Homicide Detective. He also served on Mendota School Board and City Council. Currently he is a board member of the United Health Center of San Joaquin.

Ofelia Ochoa is a proud mother of three, born in La Piedad, Michoacán, Mexico. In the year 2000, she came to the United States in search of a better life alongside her hardworking, farm-working family.

She stands as a passionate advocate and a powerful voice for families just like hers—resilient, determined, and full of heart.

Treasurer

Jesus Meza is a local entrepreneur and co-owner of Oasis Xpress Car Wash, Flex Fitness Gym, Fit Point Gym, El Oasis Raspados en Botanas, and Los Amigos Thrift Store. A Fresno State graduate in Mass Communications and Journalism, he serves as Treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce, dedicated to driving local growth and giving back to his community.

Salvador Villaseñor
Event Coordinator

Salvador Villaseñor is a first-generation Mexican American entrepreneur and founder of Boceto Graphic Design. A Fresno State graduate, he serves as Event Coordinator and Graphic Designer at the Mendota Chamber of Commerce, and is driven to make his company successful by helping local businesses improve their advertising and marketing.
